The Best of the Fest, a comedy show featuring Letterkenny star K. Trevor Wilson,
high energy comedian Sterling Scott and headlining festival fan favourite Debra DiGiovanni, on
Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Casino Nova Scotia.

Living in LA for the past several years has given Debra DiGiovanni a new take and audiences
will be sure to commiserate with her on life as she see it. Debra’s comedy has a sharp edge
while maintaining a playful, happy air, and her persona is one of the best developed of any
comic working today. Her humor and charm lies in her unflinching honest and openness, and
rapid-fire delivery.

Sterling Scott has appeared at the Ha!ifax ComedyFest three times and is a crowd favourite
each year. His material stems from those awkward moments people from all walks of life can
relate to. He’s performed throughout the world from Montreal to Dubai and Afghanistan, and
was recently invited to be a writer on Season 20 of the ever popular This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
K. Trevor Wilson, the self-proclaimed Man Mountain of Comedy, is an award winning comedian
and actor with over 20 years of experience. Debuting at 14 on the TV show Goosebumps, he is
best known for his work as Squirrelly Dan on Crave TV’s Letterkenny, his five consecutive Just
for Laughs appearances, competing on Comedy Central’s Roast Battles and performing stand up
on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Best of the Fest show partners Premiere Entertainment Group with Casino Nova Scotia to
bring you this 90-minute ride, driven by three hugely popular and hilarious Canadian
comedians.

“With the continued success of Ha!ifax ComedyFest each April, we decided it would be a great
idea to present more comedy shows year round,” says Kim Hendrickson, producer of Ha!ifax
ComedyFest, “We’ll be bringing some of the fan favourite comedians from the festival back to
the city, and we’re excited to kick it off with Debra, Sterling and K. Trevor.”
